Articles, news and events built into the program: engage customers beyond the transaction

The module News turns the loyalty program into an editorial touchpoint. It publishes articles with images, news about the brand and events with a date and a place, directly from the back office. Content is visible in Area Cliente, next to balances and promotions.

Customers interact with a like on articles and with RSVP for events. Every interaction is tracked so you can measure engagement on each piece of content.

Publish articles and events in a few minutes: a rich text editor, images and configurable categories

The back office offers a rich text editor to create articles with a title, a subtitle, formatted text and images uploaded to cloud storage (S3). The news categories are fully configurable for each program: What's new, Promotions, Brand, Events, or any other category that matters to the brand.

The events are a dedicated content type, with a date, a time and a place. RSVP lets customers confirm attendance, with a live participant count. Published content appears immediately in the Area Cliente feed.

Measure engagement on every piece of content: likes, RSVP and views tracked article by article

Every piece of content collects engagement data automatically. Customers can leave a like on articles and confirm attendance at events with RSVP. Views and clicks are tracked quietly for every article.

The back office shows engagement statistics for every piece of content: total views, likes, confirmed RSVPs and clicks. This data shows which topics interest your customers most and guides the program's editorial strategy.

Frequently asked questions about the News module

How to publish articles and events in the loyalty programme, where customers see them, and how engagement is measured.

What is Marta's News module for?

The News module lets you publish articles, stories and events directly in the loyalty programme, visible to customers in Area Cliente next to their balance and promotions.

A loyalty programme that only talks about points and discounts risks being remembered only at the till. With news, the brand tells customers about new products, collections, initiatives and appointments, and gives them another reason to open the programme app or site even when they are not about to buy.

What kinds of content can I publish?

You can publish articles with a title, text and images, and events with a date and a place, organised in categories you configure per programme.

You decide the categories according to your editorial plan: product news, promotions, brand stories, in-store events, how-to advice. Images are uploaded to cloud storage and shown in the feed and in the article detail. Each programme has its own categories, so different brands on the same platform keep separate editorial lines.

Where do customers see the news?

In the feed on the Area Cliente home, where they can filter by category and open the full detail of each piece of content.

Putting news in the same place where the customer checks points and vouchers means reaching them when they are already paying attention to the brand. An article about the new collection, next to the points balance, can become the reason for the next purchase.

How do I measure how interested customers are in the content?

Marta tracks views, clicks and likes for every piece of content, and, for events, the attendance confirmations.

The engagement count per article tells you which topics work and which do not, so you can steer the editorial plan with data instead of instinct. If a theme collects many likes, you can turn it into a dedicated promotion or a campaign to the customers who are most interested.

How does signing up for events work?

Every published event has a date and a place, and the customer can confirm they are coming directly from Area Cliente with an RSVP.

The back office shows how many customers confirmed, which helps you plan space, staff and gifts. Exclusive events for programme members, such as VIP evenings, previews or in-store workshops, are also one of the most effective ways to make membership feel valuable beyond the discount.

Why should a loyalty programme publish editorial content?

Because loyalty does not come only from the economic benefit: it also comes from the relationship, and content is one of the simplest tools for building it.

News give the brand a voice inside the programme, increase the moments of contact and make Area Cliente a place to visit, not only to check. For marketing they are also a source of data: likes and reads reveal interests that can guide segmentation and personalised offers.

Can I tell customers when I publish a news item?

Yes: you can announce a new article or an event with a campaign from the Communications module, by push, email, SMS or WhatsApp.

Combining news with an audience lets you notify only the customers who are actually interested: for example, mention the in-store event only to people who bought in that store in recent months. The content then reaches the people most likely to read it and take part.
