Commercial network · Omnichannel

Every point of contact with the customer becomes a touchpoint of the loyalty program

In Marta Platform, a touchpoint is any application or channel that can record a customer interaction: the physical store, and also e-commerce, the mobile app and social commerce, the WhatsApp chatbot, the self-service kiosk or any custom system.

They all communicate through the same REST API, they sit in the Program → Network → Store → Terminal hierarchy and build one customer profile across every channel.

Native omnichannel

Beyond the store: every channel that interacts with the customer is a touchpoint of the program

Un touchpoint in Marta Platform is any application, channel or system that can record a customer event: a purchase in store, an e-commerce order, a like on an Instagram product, a reply to a WhatsApp chatbot or a visit picked up by a kiosk.

Each touchpoint is modelled as a terminal inside the program hierarchy and talks to Marta through the very same REST API. There is no first-class and second-class integration: the physical till and the Shopify checkout speak the same language.

The result is a truly unified customer profile: points earned online flow into the wallet used in store, and promotions can be triggered by events on any channel.

Online touchpoints — ecommerce, app and web — and physical ones: kiosks, stores and the till front end.

Commercial structure

Networks and stores: a hierarchy for every franchise model

Le networks group stores logically and support nested sub-networks for complex structures (region → province → municipality). Each network has its own timezone.

Each store has a full record: name, address, contacts, website, operational flags (sales enabled, rewards, credit, Gift Card) and a configurable store type. A store can belong to more than one network.

I dynamic fields on each store and the assignable tags let you segment in detail: apply a promotion only to stores with the "Flagship" tag, or to stores in the "Food service" category.

Terminals · Touchpoints

One protocol for every touchpoint: a REST API with dedicated OAuth 2.0

Whether it is a fiscal till, a Shopify plugin, a WhatsApp bot or an iOS app, in Marta Platform every touchpoint is a REST API terminal. There are no proprietary SDKs, hardware drivers or a different integration path per channel.

Each terminal or touchpoint has its own dedicated OAuth 2.0 authentication, a foreign_id to map it to the source system, and a refresh token for persistent sessions. Terminals are grouped by store in the back office, with online and offline status in view.

Adding a new channel — an app tomorrow, TikTok Shop the day after — only takes a new pair of OAuth credentials: no infrastructure work, and no setup specific to that platform.

Proximity & discovery

Geolocation: customers find the nearest store from Area Cliente

Each store keeps latitude and longitude. The Area Cliente (customer web portal) shows an interactive map of stores, ordered by distance from the current location.

Distance search is also available through the API, so you can bring store discovery into a mobile app, an e-commerce site or an in-store kiosk. The customer sees opening hours, contacts and the services at each store before they visit.

Segmentation by category

Product categories: voucher restrictions and promotion filters by sector

La product category taxonomy is set up per program, with subcategories and translations in more than one language. You can turn each category on or off on its own.

Categories unlock advanced restrictions on vouchers: a coupon can be valid only in "Bars and cafés", or across the whole "Food service" parent category (with a parent → child cascade).

In promotions, the store category is a filter in the Filter node, so you can reserve campaigns for specific sectors of the program.
